I work with most genres, but I'm probably not the best fit for: picture books, middle grade, Christian or religious fiction, academic assignments, and nonfiction (with exceptions. I do take on some memoirs). If you're not sure if I accept your genre, feel free to reach out!

Genres I LOVE to work on and have the most experience with: all subgenres of romance, poetry collections, paranormal, urban fantasy, and thrillers.
MANUSCRIPT EVALUATION
Still early in the process and looking for some big-picture feedback? This service is for diagnosing plot holes, pacing issues, character development, style, and story structure. This includes a detailed editorial letter with an overall assessment and suggestions for improvement.
COPY EDITING
Ready for a deep line-level polish? This service is for grammar, spelling, punctuation, inconsistencies, and cleaning up your sentences to make your story flow as smoothly as possible.
PROOFREADING
Fine-tune your manuscript before publication! One final pass to catch typos, formatting errors, and any remaining issues from a previous copy edit to perfect the overall appearance of your text. The manuscript must have undergone a previous copyedit - from me or another editor.

Manuscripts with excessive errors (more than 500 per 50k words) will be charged a $50 per each additional 500 errors.
POETRY COLLECTIONS
I offer an all-around edit on poetry collections (a full copy edit and comments on overall development.) This service is $0.015/word with a $60 minimum.

Editorial contacts are available upon request. A nonrefundable 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. If you need to reschedule, please give notice at least 30 days in advance - the deposit will transfer to the new date. If no notice is given, the deposit will be forfeited, and a new one will be required to reschedule.
